Snuffle Mat

This snuffle mat occupies Taka for up to 15-20 minutes at a time and we sprinkle a mix of different shaped kibble and treats.

Enrichment

Puzzle Toy

We have the brick, tornado, and fish ones. When Taka was a puppy, we fed him using the fish puzzle and the treat dispensing toy below. More recently we added the brick and tornado puzzles for his treats and it occupies him for 5-10 minutes.

Treat Dispensing Toy

When Taka was younger he would go through phases where he’d only eat his kibble if it fell out of this toy. Even when we tried to hand feed, he would only eat if it came out of this thing!

Crate Bed

This bed perfectly fits our 35x23 inch crate and Taka now loves lounging in his crate, even during the day! The whole bed can be thrown in the washing machine and it's held up great after several washes. Use code TAKATHESHIBA for 10% off all KSIIA beds on Amazon!

For the house

Cozy Soft Round Bed

We keep this one in our office/den room and like that it takes up slightly less space and is more malleable than the one above.

Elevated Food Bowl Set

We love the clean aesthetic of this elevated food bowl set and the bowls have kept up with weekly washes - no issues so far :)

Orthopedic Dog Bed

We keep this bed in our living room and have found Taka in it more often than not lately! He loves resting his head on the raised edge.

"Home" Doormat

We've had this for over a year and it's holding up great, even through lots of rain here in the Pacific Northwest. We like the simplicity of the design.

Food Storage Containers

These are such a convenient size for small amounts of kibble and treats! We have a bunch of these all around the house to make feeding/treating easier. And when we're on the go, we can just toss 1-2 containers into our bags and head out!
(While these are labeled 'disposable', we have been washing and re-using them.)

Uproot Pet Hair Remover

This is great to use in a pinch if you notice an area on your rug/carpet full of hair (and even if it looks clean, I'm still amazed at how much pet hair still gets pulled up!).

Walk-Thru Safety Gate

We're in a three-story house and use two of these gates to keep Taka mostly on our second floor which is all hardwood (as opposed to carpet on the other floors). It took just a few days to adapt to these gates and now it's a lifesaver, especially as it prevents Taka from storming to the front door (first level) whenever the doorbell rings!

Paw and Bone Silicone Mold

These were so cute we just had to get them! We freeze a mixture of pumpkin puree, peanut butter, banana, and greek yogurt. They pop out of the molds so easily.

Shiba Inu Plushie

We didn't have very high expectations for this plushie but it's wayyy softer than expected! It actually has a zipper where you can add even MORE filling and funny enough, we've been using the filling from Taka's torn chew toys to re-stuff into this plushie :)

25lb Food Container

We store Taka's kibble in its bag in this container and the wheels make it so easy to move around. While not an exciting purchase by any means, it ticked the boxes for what we needed and we wish we got it earlier!

Raincoat

Living in the Pacific Northwest, we had to get a raincoat early on and after trying out a few different ones, we’ve stuck to this one because it’s easy to get on/off and wipes clean. Taka wears a size M and seems to tolerate it just fine :)

Accessories

Holiday Sweater

Believe it or not, it took us over a year to get Taka his first piece of “clothing” and it was this Halloween sweater! Taka wears a size L and it fits him nicely. We took him to the pumpkin patch in the sweater, and he got lots of compliments! We're now eyeing the Christmas design 🦌

Step-In Harness

This was the first harness Taka ever wore and he's graduated from an XS all the way to a L now! We love the wide color selection and the step in entry.

On the go

Portable Water Bottle

We keep this in the car just in case and it's portable enough that sometimes we'll carry it in hand during longer walks.

Collapsible Water Bowl

We have multiple sets of these in different colors and they work well for food, treats, water, etc. We have them in the car, in our backpacks, etc.

Flea & Tick Spray

We take Taka on hikes when the weather is nice and while he is already on monthly heart worm/flea/tick prevention medication, we like to use this spray as an extra layer of protection.
